Spinning Away

A small drop spindle with a green stone whorl and rose thread wrapped on it, between two small balls of white thread.
I'm getting grooves in my fingers from spinning such fine smooth yarn.
The sum of this weekend's spinning. Technically I'm just plying up super super fine silk (approximately 120/2 weaving weight if I remember right) to get it to an appropriate weight for the inkle woven belt I want to make. Still need to double the rose, and then I can measure the warp.
