This marking-things-off-the-list schtick is just not bearing fruit for me at the moment.
• Dye yellow linen for K's Persian garb (short sleeved coat)
• Patterns for K's Persian garb (short sleeved coat)
• Prep and write one signature of The Riddle-Master of Hed
- Complete practice pages in sketchbook
- Cut sheets for two signatures
- Prep with gum sandarac and penciled layout
- Write black ink
- Rubricate (and verdicate, and lazulicate, and orocate...)
- Paint foliated initial
- Gild
• Cut and punch red plates for lamellar coat
• Wax plates for lamellar coat
• Weave 6 inches of waistband for green and peach silk bliaut
• Make red wool winter skirt
• Finish and submit "Plates" to a lit mag
• Submit "The Carpet" to a lit mag
I quite literally didn't get a single thing on the list done—but I started a new knitting project and kept working on an old one, and started two new spinning projects, and made the mockup for the red wool skirt, and got K's scarf transferred at last to a style of loom that seems to be working with me, and signed up for a weaving class, and taught a not-terrible class on handsewing, and went on a number of dates, and wound the remaining silk off my spinning wheel bobbins so I can start practicing with it again, and added pockets to more of my skirts, and cooked a bunch, and plotted at least three more garments (some of which I even have the fabric for), and started looking for a new apartment. It's been a good month.
